We've pulled it off again! - Raising £3,500!

Bonfire & Fireworks Display Sunday 8th November 2009

The Grand Total raised for this years bonfire was approx £3,500.00

A huge THANK YOU must go to everyone who helped & supported this fantastic community event.

A lot of time & effort is put in from a lot of people in ensuring that this event is enjoyable & successful for not only club members but for the local community people who year on year fully support the club in coming along.

The money raised goes into the Club's Development Fund which enables us as the management committee to drive forward the ideas put together for the future development of the club.

The money used in the past has gone towards, tarmacing the top car park, replacing the fencing, pitch maintenance and annual training fees.

We do however have a large project that we would like to bring to fruition over the next few years. We would like to develop land at Brighouse Juniors and create a 3G pitch that could be used for training and mini soccer games. As a club we would appreciate any support with this project. This would be a fantastic achievement for the club and would go some way towards off setting the £13000 a year we pay in training venue costs. Equally as important, is to create a great playing surface for mini soccer games.

Everyone's contribution, no matter how small or large really goes to show the true spirit of the people involved with the club which all benefits the children playing football at such a large successful club.

We are a club that is making large steps in moving forward towards future development for the present & future players at Brighouse Juniors AFC.

So please accept this message of Thank You to everyone who helped in setting up the marquees, building the bonfire, selling tickets, making bacon butties, opening hot dogs, chopping onions, cleaning up, the list goes on & on........ & not forgetting the children who also came along to help & had a great time too!

Many Thanks Once Again
